Gifts: I am happy to assist in making a gift selection.   I can include a festive card with your message and ship directly to the recipient.   Custom and corporate gifts are a specialty.  I have served many clients in making custom pieces for restaurants, inns, universities, and corporations.

Please inquire about other items not pictured, particularly smaller work.  Wedding registry is available.

Shipping: Most pieces are shipped and insured via UPS. Lisa does not make a profit on shipping, she provides it as a service to her customers. The actual UPS cost is charged, plus the wholesale price of the carton. She works hard on collecting recycled packing materials and then passes this savings on to her customers. All carrier costs have gone up recently, and as a result typical shipping cost is around $25. West of the Rockies and to the South of the US, charges for larger pieces or for multiple items can run about $50. Low cost shipping is the goal, and the focus is making it affordable while still ensuring safe arrival of the handmade work.

Lisa is quite experienced in packing ceramics for shipment, however it is rare but possible for a piece to arrive damaged.  Please check package contents as soon as it arrives.  Photos of the damage and packaging are required by UPS for all insurance claims. Please take photos to email with your claim and retain all packing materials for UPS inspection. After UPS sends a carrier to inspect, they can be thrown away.

Return Policy: Exchanges may be made within fourteen days of receipt, must be returned unused and in the same condition you received it, and be accompanied by a proof of purchase or receipt. Returns are for credit or exchange only, we do not offer refunds. The buyer will be responsible for the cost of shipping incurred. Please refer to UPS shipping guidlines for instuctions on safe packing procedures. Items returned damaged or broken will not be elgible for credit.

For custom designed work, there are no returns or exchanges. All custom work is made to order and will not be returnable under any circumstances. There are no returns or exchanges on work purchased at charity events that was donated by Lisa.

Care for ceramics:  These pieces are fully functional, and have a lead-free glaze that is safe to use with food.  The unglazed portion of any piece (such as the unglazed "sandy" parts of the wave series) are not impermeable to oils. If this should occur, they will fade with washing, but please use caution with oily foods on these areas if this will be bothersome. Included with all pieces is a gift card explaining these details.

Sudden changes in temperature (i.e. from freezer to oven to cold countertop) may cause thermal shock, which can break any ceramic material. Therefore, these pieces are not guaranteed for use in baking, but they are fine for serving hot or cold food. They can go in the microwave and are dishwasher safe, though please stack with care.  Though the glaze is extremely durable, to avoid scratches items can be stored with cloth or paper between them.  Hand washing is recommended for pieces with an especially delicate edge, such as the fluted vase.
